Our photovoltaic concentration system and its production process

The CPVRS system is a photovoltaic concentration system that reaches a 30% DC system efficiency. Its production is based on a distributed manufacturing paradigm. In other words, systems assembly is carried out in the country where it will be installed by a local partner.

Becoming a partner is so easy. You don’t need a large infrastructure neither experience in the production of PV system, you will be responsible for the following activities. 

  • Commercialize the product locally.
  • Assemble CPVRS systems at your facilities.
  • Install CPVRS systems on the field.

EGYMEC, Our New Egypcian Partner



We have just signed an agreement with EGYMEC as our CPVRS local partner for this high potential market.

Coming soon we will apply our exclusive production process, through which we will send product components as kits so that they can be assembled at our Egyptian partner facilities. Once assembled, EGYMEC will be in charge of shipping and installing CPVRS system on the field as well as commercialize it locally.

EGYMEC is an oil field services company. It’s an agent for Drillmec SPA (one of the three biggest land rigs manufacturer in the world) and Allied international group (energy and oil field equipment supplies manufacturer) in Egypt. The company is one of Subsidiaries Companies of El-Didi Group. Eng. Abd El Fattah El Didi PhD is the current Chairman and CEO of ELDIDI Group. Recently EGYMEC have established a new division of solar energy, as an Agent or representing of the most reputable and experienced solar energy providers in the global market.

Crowdfunding Campaign

In the next weeks we are launching an equity crowdfunding campaign which will allow us to increase the manufacturing and commercialization capacity for our new range of VGP products.

Our company valuation is 4 million euros and our objective is to raise 400K euros for a 10% of company shares in order to help us develop our business plan, basically focused on increasing the manufacturing capacity of CPVRS systems, product certification and to execute a marketing launch campaign including our presence in the most important industry fairs and conferences.

Two classes of shares will be issued:

  • Class A shares require a minimum investment of 50K euros, and have full voting rights.
  • Class B shares starting at 500 euros. Without voting rights but with all the benefits of being a shareholder.

This is based on the following assumptions: 13 c€/kWh price of electricity, 18% EPC margin, 1% general interest rate.

Columns are: «CPVRS072» for our CPV system, «PV Fixed» for REC 250PE modules mounted fixed at optimal angle and «CPV Single» stands for REC 265PE modules mounted on horizontal single axis tracking system.


Test site with 9 CPVRS systems running

Our test site is operating since September 2014 with 9 CPVRS 072 systems connected to ABB Power-One inverters. One system is connected to a PVI 3.0 while the remaining 8 are connected to a new PRO-33 under beta test.

We are very happy with how the CPVRS systems and the inverters are working up together. System efficiencies as high as 32% on the DC side have been recorded so long.

The objective of this test field is to gather experience with our new CPVRS product, so that future installations abroad can run smoothly. We are now looking to set up new pilot installations abroad together with partners interested in assembling and distributing our product in their region.




Revolutionary tracking technology

The MISPS is a solar position sensor which is
integrated into a concentrated photovoltaic
(thereafter CPV) module having refractive,
diffractive or hybrid primary imaging optics, or even
more generically, imaging optics in which the
primary lies between the sun and the CPV receiver.
In principle, it is more appropriate for CPV
systems having a secondary optical element
(thereafter SOE) on top of the CPV cell.
This sensor’s main purpose is to be used as a fine
tuning device for a hybrid continuous tracking
system, which will normally work on an open loop
speed setting algorithm following astronomical
calculations, which will eventually be corrected
using the value of the sensor signals when lack of
alignment is detected.
Therefore, one of the characteristics of the
MISPS concept is that it is only influencing the
tracking algorithm whenever a certain degree of
misalignment is detected. Its function can be
described as negative signal generation, changing
the tracking speed in opposite sense to the detected
This sensor concept can also be used for hybrid
intermittent tracking systems, where MISPS signal
reaching a minimum threshold would trigger the
transition from normal open-loop astronomical
based operation into closed-loop sensor based

CPVRS 072 is a fully integrated 7,2 m2 solar aperture 2,16 kWp CPV system.
It is designed to be assembled at decentralised facilities and shipped to the field as a single unit, thus optimizing logistics and minimizing installation and commissioning costs.
It includes triple junction high efficiency cells and concentration optics, allowing for DC 30% system efficiency on STC conditions.
